Join the YCS Board
Our mission is to strengthen the Yukon’s resilience, resistance and response to the twin climate and biodiversity crisis through meaningful partnerships - recognizing that all life is dependent upon healthy ecosystems.
Thank you for your interest in joining the Yukon Conservation Society Board of Directors! YCS has a governance style board, which plays a key role in the success of its work. We welcome diversity and seek to have our board be representative of YCS membership and communities throughout the Yukon.
New board members will be elected at the YCS’s upcoming AGM on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026. To attend the AGM in-person, please register via Eventbrite. To participate remotely, register via Zoom.
To self-nominate (because you’re great) or nominate a friend, please fill out the online nomination form or the downloadable version, then drop it off or mail it to 302 Hawkins St, or email a copy to board@yukonconservation.ca. Candidates may continue to be nominated until the start of the AGM, and may also nominate themselves on the floor of the meeting.
The board is also happy to communicate via email to discuss the opportunity or answer any questions.
Board members must have an active YCS membership. For support with membership payments, please contact outreach@yukonconservation.ca.
